Melura Candles Usage Instructions + Tips

HOW TO USE

Please use a fire-proof/heat-proof container that will also retain molten wax.

Recommended size is minimum 10cm width and height, to keep the melted wax away from the edge and to prevent the container from getting too hot.

Cut wick to preferred size.

Insert wick into pearls leaving about only 0.5 cm visible. Leaving out more will cause wick to burn faster.

Ensure at least 5cm of pearls around and under the wick to prevent the melted wax from reaching the edge/bottom of the container and sticking to the container/heating the container up. This also allows space for the wick to self-extinguish before reaching the bottom of the container.

TIPS

Once finished burning, wait for wick to cool down and either

• Reuse same wick if there is still sufficient burn available
• Turn the melted part upside down and use the bottom of the wick (if visible)
• Remove melted part, shake the pearls up and replace wick for a brand new candle!

 To reuse pearls after using them as a floating candle:

• Once finished burning, wait for wick to cool down and remove.
• Pour the remaining pearls and water into a sift and drain the water
• Spread the pearls onto paper towels and let them airdry
• Once dry, re-use them and enjoy!
